In March and October 2025, I was asked to help film a set of interviews with the winners as well as sponsors of the British Arrows Awards 2025 hosted by the Ed Gamble at the The Grosvenor Hotel in London as well as the Young Arrows Awards 2025 hosted by Reggie Yates at HERE at the Outernet in London. Throughout the events, I was responsible for operating my Sony FX6 camera, using a wireless Sony UTX-H2 microphone including a wired Sennheiser MKH-60 as backup to capture audio and lit the space using two FalconEyes panels, an Amaran 300c as well as a Zhiyun Molus G200, while exchanging CF Express Type A cards with a team of editors cutting these interviews straight after capture. This experience put my lighting as well as organisational skills to the test as it was vital not to make a mistake when swapping cards and tested my setup skills as a quick turnaround was expected before the first interviews started. It also showed that being prepared with backup solutions is always important as one of the event videographers was asked to film an interview with Reggie didn't have any mics with him on this occasion, however, as I had a spare lav mic the day was saved and all was recorded perfectly.
