In January 2025, I was asked to help broadcast the Jeff Beck: The Guitar Collection auction, which sold guitars, amps, pedals as well as ‘tools of the trade’ for over 8 million pounds, gathered 80K views with 5K concurrent viewers throughout the nearly 7h and took place at the Christie's HQ in London. Throughout the event, I was responsible for broadcasting to YouTube only this time, using a Matrox HDX Dual-Channel H.264 Encoder as well as running a separate vMix stream to the YouTube backup server for redundancy. This experience tested my YouTube knowledge and taught me how to record such a long sale without missing a minute of recording.
